About this villa
Completed in 2026, Villa Botto is a newly restored Puglian farmhouse set within two hectares of ancient olive groves and Mediterranean gardens on the Piana degli Ulivi Monumentali, the protected plain of monumental olive trees that runs between Ostuni and the sea. The villa sits along the Via Traiana, the Roman road that has crossed this landscape for two thousand years, five minutes from the Adriatic beaches and ten from Ostuni's historic centre, with views towards the White City.
Inside, natural stone, vaulted ceilings, travertine finishes and oak carpentry create a warm, understated atmosphere shaped by local craftsmanship. A bright living room with fireplace and television flows through large glass openings onto the pergola and terraces, while the fully equipped kitchen pairs a Bertazzoni Heritage electric stove with Smeg appliances and a Nespresso machine. Selected Italian pieces, brushed brass Gessi fittings and handcrafted travertine detailing carry the villa's organic design identity through every room.

Native Carioca from Rio de Janeiro, forever a New Yorker, heart in Puglia. After a career in finance I turned to nature, design and meaningful spaces, building and restoring homes shaped by a sense of place, from Rio de Janeiro to Villa Botto in Ostuni.
