Casa Emilia is a family retreat set in three hectares of centuries-old olive groves, some of the trees over a thousand years old, just four minutes by car (or a 25-minute walk) from Ostuni along a quiet country lane. Sleeping seven guests across a three-bedroom main house and a separate one-bedroom guest house, Casa Probo, the property looks out over its own olive groves to the sea, the surrounding hills and the rooftops of Ostuni itself, all enclosed within stone walls behind an electric gate. The beaches, along with Cisternino and the seafood restaurants of Savelletri, are all close by.
The main house holds three en-suite bedrooms: a master with a king bed opening onto a private terrace through metal shutters, a twin room looking over the aranceto, and a third bedroom with a trundle bed, a fitted wardrobe and its own bathroom. Antique wooden doors, stone floors and silent air conditioning run throughout, alongside a fully equipped kitchen with a Bosch oven, a vaulted ceiling and a refectory dining table for eight.

Paul's accommodation was beautiful overall. The approach via the gravel road is a bit unusual, but the accommodation is absolutely worth the effort. The apartment was exactly as described: it was very clean, spacious and well equipped. However, the absolute highlight is the fantastic garden with the beautiful pool area. Here we were able to relax wonderfully and enjoy the time to the fullest. We really enjoyed our stay!

End your search—BOOK THIS PROPERTY! Casa Emilia is an extraordinary property set on 6 acres and surrounded by olive trees. The home is stunnnnnnning and looks exactly like the pictures, but profoundly more impressive. It was well-decorated inside, extremely clean, and had every amenity you could want. We were two couples who rented for 6 nights and we loved our stay. The house is so tranquil, and we bounced around from drinks on the rooftop (with a magical view of Ostuni), to cooking in the outside kitchen and dining outside, playing bocce, swimming in the pool and hiring a chef for a private dinner one night, which we enjoyed under the pergola. Paul is a fabulous host - very helpful, very kind, very responsive and provided us with very good recommendations for restaurants, grocery shopping, a local wine tour and an olive oil tasting. From the moment I messaged him through Airbnb, he was extremely gracious and communicative. Thank you, Paul--we thoroughly enjoyed meeting you!
